5k & 10k Race Information

Date: Saturday, October 18, 2025
Location: Narrows Town Park, Narrows, Virginia
Race Start: 8:30 AM

The 5K and 10K courses wind alongside the scenic Wolf Creek, offering stunning views of mountains, farmland, and the creek. Stay after your race for our community celebration at the town park, which features food vendors, award ceremonies, and music. The park has lots of space for fun and hanging out - a great place to celebrate with friends and family.

Every participant receives:

  • Official race t-shirt

  • Finisher medal

  • Food voucher for post-race celebration

  • Picnic blanket for enjoying the after-party

  • Professional chip timing

  • Eligibility for age group awards

Parking & Transportation

Free parking at Mill Pond field across from the Narrows Community Center (bathrooms available here). Then it’s a short walk to the town park and start line.

Race Rules & Guidelines

  • All participants must wear their assigned bib number on the front

  • Headphones are permitted but discouraged for safety

  • Pets, bicycles, and wheeled devices (except wheelchairs) are not permitted on course

Wolf Creek Runs Wild: 5k Course

The 5k course is an out-and-back run starting and finishing at the Narrows Town Park. Runners and walkers will enjoy views of the creek, mountains, and farmland. This is a mostly flat course with one hill to challenge you. Hydration stations will be available at the start/finish and mid-point.

Wolf Creek Runs Wild 10k Course

The 10k course is a loop starting and finishing at the Narrows Town Park. Participants will run by the creek and farmland, while enjoying mountain views. Most of the course is fairly flat, but there is a significant climb near the halfway point to challenge you. Hydration stations will be available at the start/finish, 1.5-mile marker, and mid-point.
